Ooredoo Myanmar is one of the largest providers of telecoms services in Myanmar, with nationwide 2G/3G/4G networks and a strategy to become a digital leader in the market. This case study examines the implementation of its low-latency, high-quality-of-service (QoS) mobile live-streaming service for the FIFA World Cup 2018, which was implemented in partnership with Mahindra Comviva.
Ooredoo Myanmar and Mahindra Comviva accomplished the challenging task of delivering a low-latency, high-quality live event stream over mobile networks to multiple devices with a rapid deployment timeframe of only 2 weeks.
