Deutsche Telekom is diverging from the GSMA’s eUICC/iSIM specifications to create its own iSIM solution, nuSIM, which is optimised for NB-IoT. It has built up an impressive list of vendor partners that support nuSIM, but may need more backing from operators to enable nuSIM to emerge as a de-facto iSIM standard.
