The Springwood Development Partners (Springwood), an affiliate of Blackford Development of Lancaster and Byler Holdings, is undertaking the construction of a mixed-use development in Lebanon County, the US.

The project involves the construction of a commercial and residential development on 59.8ha of land and will be implemented in five phases.

Phase I includes the construction of a 100-room hotel, two restaurants, medical use buildings, warehouse, distribution, three mixed-use buildings for office, retail and commercial space, parking and related facilities.

Phase I(A) includes the construction of 162 townhouse units.

Phase II includes the construction of a 55,742m2 shopping centre. The scope of other phases is yet to be announced.

Beers & Hoffman, Ltd. Shonk and Schwear & Associates Architecture appointed as architects, Steckbeck Engineering Surveying Inc as study consultant, and Fameco Realty as associated developer for the project.

The commissioners agreed to be the sponsoring government agency in Springwoods request for four federal grants totaling more than US$3 million that will be put toward infrastructure, traffic, and utility enhancements.

On April 23, 2010, the project received planning approvals.

In June 2013, the design work completed on the project.

In November 2016, Kenneth Homes has been appointed as contractor for the development of Phase I(A).

In July 2017, preparatory works commenced on Phase I(A).

In August 2017, groundbreaking ceremony was held marking the commencement of construction works for Phase I.

In February 2018, Springwood received building permits for the first 12 townhouses of the Phase IA and construction commenced on first 12 townhouses.

Construction works are underway for the Phase I and Phase I(A).

The project involves the construction of residential and commercial facilities on 59.8 ha of land in Lebanon County, the US.

The US$158 million project includes the following:

1. Construction of 162 townhouse units

2. Construction of a 100-room hotel

3. Construction of two restaurants

4. Construction of medical use buildings

5. Construction of warehouse

6. Construction of 55,742m2 of the shopping centre

7. Construction of distribution
