Allstate Road (EDENS) LLC (Allstate), an affiliate of Edens Inc., is undertaking the construction of a mixed-use community in Massachusetts, the US.

The project involves the construction of a mixed-use community comprising five six-story buildings on 4ha of land.

The project includes the construction of 475 residential units, a 130-room hotel, a 12-screen movie theater on a 6,039m2 area, 11,148m2 retail space, restaurants, a flagship Wahlburger, two parking garages comprising 920 spaces with additional 70 street spaces and related facilities, and the installation of safety systems and elevators.

Fort Point Associates, Inc. has been appointed as a planner, Bohler Engineering as the engineering consultant.

On February 11, 2015, Fort Point Associates, Inc. on behalf Allstate submitted the letter of intent to the Boston Redevelopment Authority (BRA).

On August 4, 2015, Allstate submitted detailed project plans to BRA.

Mill Creek Residential is appointed as an associate developer for development of multifamily units in the project. Lee Kennedy Co. was appointed as the contractor for site works, retail space, cinema and utility construction works. Stantec was appointed as the architect.

In May 2016, project secured approvals from BRA Board.

On August 10, 2016, ground breaking ceremony was held marking the commencement of construction works commenced on hotel and retail space.

On July 25, 2017, groundbreaking ceremony was held for the residential units and construction works commenced.

The first residential building is scheduled to open in fall 2018 while the second will be completed in the first quarter of 2019.

The project involves the construction of a mixed-use community comprising five six-story buildings on 4ha of land at South Bay Center in Dorchester, Boston, Massachusetts, the US.

The US$200 million project includes the following:

1. Construction of 475 residential units

2. Construction of a 130-room hotel

3. Construction of 11,148m2 retail space

4. Construction of restaurants

5. Construction of a 12-screen movie theater on a 6,039m2 area

6. Construction of two parking garages comprising 920 spaces with additional 70 street spaces

7. Installation of safety systems and elevators

8. Construction of related facilities
