Diversified Realty Advisors, LLC (DRA) and SunCal Companies (SunCal) are undertaking the construction of a mixed-use complex in North Tarrywown, Sleepy Hollow, New York, the US.

The project involves the redevelopment of former GMs assembly plant into a mixed-use development on 27ha portion of almost 40ha property.

The project includes the construction of 1,177 residential units comprising condominiums, townhomes and apartments, a 140-room hotel, 12,542m2 retail space including cinema and urban market,18,581m2 commercial space, 2,787m2 office space, a 6.5ha waterfront park, 60 units of affordable housing, commercial facilities, access roads, parking and other related facilities.

The project will be implemented in four to five phases. The first phase involves the construction of 188 loft-style apartments in the four-story "Loft District", 46 three- and four-story condominium homes and 72 townhouses in the "Central Park District", 40 senior affordable units and 21 affordable workforce units. The second phase includes the construction of 290 units. However, the scope of remaining phases is yet to be revealed.

Hart Howerton Architects has been appointed as the architect for the project. In 2011, the Village of Sleepy Hollow approved the proposed development.

In January 2014, DRA and SunCal were appointed as developers by GM. In May 2014, an initial site plan was submitted to the planning board.

In December 2014, DRA and SunCal have acquired the site for redevelopment. In October 2015, DRA and SunCal secured approvals for the first phase.

On May 18, 2016, ground breaking held on the site. Hart Howerton has been appointed as architect for the project.

In August 2016, public hearing was held.

Construction of a new temporary bridge to transport heavy equipment to the site is being built by Arben Group for 90 days and is underway.

In January 2018, Toll Brothers (TOL) signed an agreement to purchase and build 306 units of housing, including 61 affordable workforce and senior housing units in the first phase.

Construction of the first phase is underway and planning activities on the remaining phases are underway.
