The Ministry of State for Interior Affairs (MoSIA) is undertaking the new Internal Security Force camp development in Qatar.

The project involves the construction of a security camp over an area of 4 million m2. The project will be implemented in 17 packages.

Package CPC - 02: covers an area of 70,000m2 which includes infrastructure works and Car park, and 200,000m2 District cooling plant, 98 buildings, checkpoint building, unit guard house and force office and associated facilities.

Arab Engineering Bureau and Dar Al-Handasah Consultants has been appointed as the design consultant, Qatar Project Management as PMC contractor, Marmara Projects as excavation contractor and Al Jaber Engineering as MEP contractor.

In April 2012, MoSIA invited tenders for the main contractor with the submission deadline as June 11, 2012.

In February 2013, A joint venture of AKTOR-Al Jaber Engineering was appointed as main contractor.

Construction works are underway and are expected to be completed by June 2018.

Package CPC - 03 (Kahraamaa Works): It includes the construction of 8m high boundary walls, 24 buildings, a super substation, two primary substations and associated facilities.

Arab Engineering Bureau has been appointed as the design consultant, Qatar Project Management as PMC contractor.

In February 2017, Front End Engineering Design (FEED) works completed and design works were completed in September 2017.

Tender for the main contract is yet to be issued and the construction works is expected to be completed in 2020.

Package CPC - 05: covers an area of 20,255m2 which includes traffic control centre building, car parking facility, landscaping works, infrastructure works and associated facilities.

In February 2014, UrbaCon Trading & Contracting was appointed as main contractor.

Construction works are underway and are expected to be completed in November 2018.

Package CPC - 06 (Hospital): It includes the construction of 33,604m2, 4 story hospital building, general store, 2 substations, boundary walls, 975 parking space and associated facilities.

Design works are underway and the project is expected to be completed by 2020.

Package CPC - 07A: covers an area of 306,000m2 which includes 16 barracks, 5 headwaters buildings, general store and force office space.

Package CPC - 07B: It includes the construction of Zone 3: patrol department; Zone 5: explosives group department; Zone 10: arms & ammunition store; Zone 16: shops, mosque and service blocks; Zone 21 - soldier & NCO.

Package CPC - 7C: covers an area of 105,800m2 which includes Zone 18: general headquarters; Zone 19: officers mess, clubs & two substations, museum, handball court, basketball court, tennis court, 915 parking space and associated facilities.

Package CPC - 7D: covers an area of 26,000m2 club, residential apartments, a mess, a laundry, training center and substation.

In February 2018, MoSIA issued tenders for the main contract with the submission deadline as March 29, 2018, however in March 2018, the submission deadline was extended from April 12, 2018.

In April 2018, the submission deadline was again extended to April 22, 2018.

Bid evaluation process is underway and the contract is expected to be awarded in June 2018.

Package CPC-08Q: It includes the construction of Zone 30: 30 buildings, mechanical room, substation, landscape and infrastructure works.

KEO has been appointed as lead consultant.

In August 2017, MoSIA issued tenders for the main contract with the submission deadline as November 15, 2017, however the submission deadline was extended to November 30, 2017.

In February 2018, Al Balagh Trading & Contracting was appointed as main contractor.

Package CPC - 09: covers an area of 315,940m2 which includes 59 buildings, Zone 2: lefdawiya department; Zone 4: VIP guard department; Zone 07: security & guard battalion department; Zone 11: Rescue team department; Zone 12: Ladies police building; Zone 15: Environment support logistic; Zone 17: Central prison; Zone 26: service area shop, Zone 27: main parade shaded stage, 1,769 parking space.

Package CPC - 10: covers an area of 23,092m2 which includes 13 buildings, Zone 14: Field training center; Zone 28: Urban Area, 308 parking space and associated facilities.
