The project involves the construction of a wind power farm with a generating capacity of 200MW, a powerhouse, a substation and turbine bases, installation of wind turbines of 2MW-3.3MW, turbine tower of 90m-120m high, generators and equipment, and the laying of 220kv transmission lines.

The project will be developed in two phases, phase one will have the generation capacity of 150MW and the second phase will have 50MW.

In February 2016, the project officially presents to Ministerio del Interior de Colombia.

The project is waiting for approval from the authority for the next stage of planning.
