The Uzbekneftegaz (UNG) is undertaking the development of the Southern Kemachi oil & gas condensate field in Kashkadarya, Uzbekistan.
The project involves the redevelopment of existing gas deposits. The project will be executed in phases.
The first phase includes the construction of production units, transportation units, re-injection units, storage, related facilities, the installation of machinery and power-related facilities.
The second phase includes the construction of 37 operating wells, a booster station, related facilities, the installation of machinery and power related facilities. It is planned to ensure the production of 3.29BCM of gas, 243,830TPA of crude oil and 77,080 tonnes of condensate.
The project is expected to be financed by the Uzbekneftegaz National Holding Company to the amount of US$326.3 million and through the Uzbek Fund for Reconstruction and Developments loan worth US$33.015 million.
In May 2014, PJSC Sumy Frunze NPO was awarded as a supply contractor for turbocompressor trains. The scope of the contract includes the design, manufacture and shipment of four turbo-compressors (TKA): 2x8 MW and 2x18 MW in very tight terms.
In fourth quarter 2015, Construction activities commenced on the project.
Construction activities are completed on the first phase of the project.
Construction activities are underway on the second phase.
The project involves the redevelopment of existing gas deposits in Kashkadarya, Uzbekistan.
The US$579 million project also includes the following:
