Urals main exploration and production operations are in East Siberia. In addition, the company has exploration and production operations, both onshore and offshore, on Sakhalin Island, in Timan Pechora, and in the Republics of Komi and Udmurtia. Urals is focused on development of its core assets in East Siberia. It operates its Russian holdings and directs the management of their operations through its Moscow subsidiary, OOO Urals Energy (a Russian limited liability company). On 3rd August, 2011, the company announced that Petraco Oil Company Limited (Petraco) has agreed to restructure the terms of the debt repayment agreement. Urals is headquartered at Nicosia in Cyprus.
