It might be easy to dismiss SenSage as just another analytic upstart with new, unproven technology and limited market penetration. However, a closer look at this San Francisco-based company reveals that it has a mature MPP-based columnar analytic database that’s backed up by an impressive customer base. This isn’t quite complex event processing (CEP), but we believe it’s only a matter of time before SenSage points its technology at classic CEP markets such as stock trading.
