One of the prime requirements to achieve a healthy and stable economy is to have a sound and effective banking system in place. Indian banking system should not only break the shackles of restriction to ensure smooth functioning but also should be robust enough to take on the challenges that might arise due to some internal or external factors like global economic conditions technology etc. A primary research was conducted to understand the customer and Bank mangers perception about various banking services and then understand the gap between the two. Research was also conducted on various parameters which would lead to customer satisfaction and the gap in customers and bank manager’s perspective on the customer satisfaction.
