Acephate is a slow-acting insecticide, mainly applied to control pests with chewing mouthparts and piercing-sucking developed by Chevron Co., Ltd. in 1971. In 2007, the sales of Acephate reached USD195 million in the world, as the second large organophosphorus insecticides. However, acephate's performance in China had not been satisfying until the methamidophos was banned in 2008.
In last 3 years, acephate industry has been witnessing huge change in China. Compared with that in 2006, the capacity in 2011 has increased more than 90%. In 2009-2011, acephate capacity and output increased continuously. China Crop Protection Industry Association (CCPIA) has set up a cooperative group with eight key acephate producers in order to make acephate become a variety with sustainable development.
Historical market analysis – A full market study provides comprehensive understanding to the acephate situation in the past three years. The intelligence data is presented by various indexes, such as supply (output, capacity, producers, location distribution), demand (demand volume, demand structure by crops/targets), price, technology, etc. Future market analysis - Market trend in the coming five years.
This report attaches importance to the following aspects ? Production of acephate technical in China and key manufacturers ? Demand by crops & cities in China ? Price and material analysis? Production technology Industry risks |
