WJC, with its pressure of as high as 550MPa, is used to cut a great number of materials, including stone, metal, glass, ceramic, cement products, paper, food, plastic, cloth, polyurethane, wood, leather, rubber, ammunition, etc. Such countries as the U.S., Germany, Russia and Italy have all achieved breakthrough in ultrahigh-pressure WJC technology, with Flow, Ingresoll Rand and Bystronic as the representatives. So far there are more than 10,000 units of WJC machine tools in operation across the world, with the annual increase rate of more than 20% in the last few years.
As a new industry, WJC is growing fast in China, but it has problems, too. Firstly, China's technology falls far behind the world's leading technology. Secondly, there are no policies to regulate the industry but only the Standard of Ultrahigh-Pressure WJC Products JB/T10351-2002. |
