Poly Australia (Poly), the subsidiary of Poly Real Estate is building an office tower in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia.

The project involves the construction of a 19,717.5m2, 28-story office building on 0.14ha of land. It includes the construction of ten-story podium, 1,386m2 retail space, 18,331m2 commercial facility, conference halls, meeting rooms, cafeteria, restaurants, basement parking facility for 29 cars, and the installation of elevators and security systems.

In December 2016, stage one concept development application (DA) for the project was submitted.

In May 2017, Poly received stage one DA approval for the project from City of Sydney.

From May 31, 2017, an 8-week design competition commenced, where the design brief was issued to the invited competitors. six companies participated and they are namely Grimshaw Architects, Hassell, JV of SOM and PTW, Fitzpatrick + Partners, BVN and Durbach Block Jaggers.

On August 31, 2017, Grimshaw Architects won the design competition.

Kengo Kuma & Associates and Foster + Partners Ltdwere appointed as design consultants, Urbis Pty Ltd as planner and WSP global as lead consultant.

Colliers International and JLL have been appointed as office leasing agents, while International firm Knight Frank will look after all retail leasing within the highly anticipated building.

In December 2017, poly submitted a Stage 2 DA to the City of Sydney Council at Sydneys Town Hall for the demolition of existing buildings and structures, excavation at 210 george st, and construction of a 28 story commercial tower with ground and first floor retail, three basement levels.

Poly awaiting Stage 2 DA approval. Construction works are expected to commence in the first quarter of 2019 and will be complete by 2022.
