The project involves the construction of a conversion unit, a gasification unit, storage space, an office space and other supporting facilities, and the installation of machinery, equipment and safety systems.

The project will use Honeywell UOPs MTO technology that converts methanol from coal and other sources into the olefins.

On April 25, 2017, China Chenga Engineering Co., Ltd. was appointed as a design consultant.

China Chengda Engineering Co Ltd has been appointed as the main contractor.

Construction activities are underway.

The project involves the construction of a 600,000TPA methanol-to-olefins (MTO) plant in Nanjing, Jiangsu, China.

The US$600 million project includes the following:
