L&T Infrastructure Engineering Ltd (LTIEL), a subsidiary of Larsen & Toubro Ltd, has been appointed as engineering consultant.
In October 2014, LTIEL submitted the environmental impact assessment (EIA) and environmental management plan (EMP) reports.
In May 2015, SPPL submitted project plans to the Gujarat Coastal Zone Management Authority (GCZMA) for coastal regulatory zone (CRZ) clearance.
