The project involves the construction of a 150m-high, 89,074m2, 29-story office building on 1.12ha of land, meeting space, conference rooms, banquet halls, recreational areas, restaurants, commercial space and parking facilities.
It includes the demolition of 130,000m2 of the three banks includes the banking hall, the Tokyo Bankers Association Building and the Mizuho Banks former head office building.
In August 2014, the project received the permission of comprehensive design.
Demolition and the construction works will be undertaken by the joint venture of Obayashi Corporation, Taisei International, Shimizu Corporation
Demolition works commenced in October 2016, which are scheduled to be completed by November 2017 allowing the start of main construction.
Construction works are scheduled to commence in December 2017 and slated to be completed in 2020.
