Brady Property (Brady) is planning to undertake the construction of a mixed-use facility in Victoria, Australia.

The project involves the construction of two towers of 51 and 67-story on top of a five-story podium on a 3,165m2 area.

The project includes the construction of 440 two-bedroom apartments, 288 one-bedroom apartments, a 312-room hotel, parking facilities, retail, a gym room and yoga facilities for hotel guests, a large pool, communal dining areas, and outdoor barbecue area for residents.

Brady has entered into a Letter of Intent with Starwood Asia Pacific Hotels & Resorts Pte. Ltd to supervise, direct and control the operations of the proposed hotel tower under the Aloft brand.

In September 2013, Hiap Hoe acquired 380 Lonsdale Street to construct a mixed-use facility.

In October 2013, Elenberg Fraser was appointed as architect and interior designer for the project. Hiap Hoe signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Probuild Construction to pursue joint-venture opportunities for groups recently acquired sites.

The project secured planning approval in March 2015.

In December 2015, Hiap Hoe entered into an agreement with Brady to take around 51% stake in the project development.

In March 2016, Hiap Hoe sold its stake in the project to Brady for US$46 million.

Pre-construction works are underway.

Scope


The project involves the construction of two buildings of 51 and 67-story on top of a five-story podium on a 3,165m2 area in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.

The US$360 million project includes the following:

1. Construction of 288 one-bedroom apartments
2. Construction of 440 two-bedroom apartments
3. Construction of a 312-room hotel
4. Construction of parking facilities
5. Construction of retail facility
6. Construction of a gym room and yoga facilities
7. Construction of a large pool
